Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Ensar application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

The App is developed and operated by Voventech ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of Service

Ensar is an Islamic companion application that provides prayer times, Qibla direction, dhikr and tasbih tools, habit tracking, an Islamic content library, and an AI-powered assistant. The App is available for iOS devices.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using Ensar, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Accounts & Data

Ensar does not require you to create an account. Your data is primarily stored locally on your device. Optional cloud synchronization features may store limited, non-personally-identifiable data on our backend services.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

5.1 Ensar+ Subscription

Ensar offers a premium subscription ("Ensar+") that unlocks additional features. Ensar+ is available as a monthly or yearly subscription.

5.2 Billing

  • All payments are processed through Apple's App Store.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

5.3 Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends.

5.4 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers.
  • Use the AI Assistant to generate content that is harmful, misleading, or violates Islamic principles.
  • Attempt to circumvent any subscription or access restrictions.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, graphics, and trademarks in the App are the property of Voventech or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the App without our prior written consent.

8. AI Assistant Disclaimer

The AI Assistant feature provides information for educational and convenience purposes only. Responses may not always be accurate or complete. The AI Assistant is not a substitute for qualified Islamic scholarship. For matters of religious significance, please consult a qualified scholar.

We include confidence indicators with AI responses to help you assess reliability, but we make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of any AI-generated content.

9. Prayer Times Disclaimer

Prayer times are calculated using established astronomical algorithms and may vary slightly from local mosque schedules. Ensar provides prayer times as a convenience tool. We recommend verifying times with your local mosque, especially for Fajr and Isha.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Voventech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

11. Modifications to the App & Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels.
